George Bruno \u00ab\u00a0Zoot\u00a0\u00bb Money<\/b>\u00a0(born 17 July 1942 in\u00a0Bournemouth<\/a>,\u00a0Hampshire<\/a>) is an English vocalist, keyboardist and bandleader. He is best known for his playing of the\u00a0Hammond organ<\/a>\u00a0and association with his\u00a0Big Roll Band<\/a>. Inspired by\u00a0Jerry Lee Lewis<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Ray Charles<\/a>, he was drawn to\u00a0rock and roll<\/a>\u00a0music and became a leading light in the vibrant music scene of\u00a0Bournemouth<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Soho<\/a>\u00a0during the 1960s. He took his stage name ‘Zoot’ from\u00a0Zoot Sims<\/a>\u00a0after seeing him in concert.[1]<\/a><\/sup><\/div>\n
